Feeling Philosophical

These questions have been bugging me lately.

What makes us different from animals?
Does not a Lion love her cubs?
Do not Chimpanzies have families?
Do not Whales make love?
But do they appreciate?
Can they gaze out upon their world and wonder of its glory?
Do they question their existance?

Animals may be intelligent, but do they REASON? Of course, many HUMANS do not reason well... MANY are without reason entirely! Those are FAITH based Humans.
